Come and have fun! Quilting is a great way to unlock your child’s creativity. This class is for the beginner or advanced-beginner, ages 9 and up. Class is 3 hours per day for 4 consecutive half days at our Over the Top Quilting Studio. Each day’s session is 9:00 AM to noon. Price is $150. 

We will have two different block designs: one for the beginner and the other for the advanced-beginner. Students love this and they truly make it their own! Have your child learn a life skill.

Fabric will be provided … there is plenty of fabric!

Pat Romohr

Our instructor is Pat Romohr. Pat has taught adult and kid classes through several Bernina quilt shops for over 25 years. She is an active member of the Austin Modern Quilt Guild (AMQG) and Austin Area Quilt Guild (AAQG). In addition to teaching, Pat has her Sewing Palace where she teaches quilting, sewing and knitting classes. Pat loves to teach groups of children or adults, as well as one on one!

This class is a pre-req for Advanced Kid’s Quilt Camp. 

Supplies: All are available at our Studio – except your sewing machine.
– Your sewing machine (please make sure it is in good working order)
– Extra bobbins
– Scissors
– Straight pins and pin cushion
– Seam ripper
– Pen or pencil
– Thread (light)
Remember, fabric is provided!
